The MIDAS TOUCH Business Park Project encountered a major setback when its initial STP installation initiated by an earlier vendor was left unfinished. Not only was environmental clearance compliance delayed, but also issues related to long-term sustainability and legal compliance were brought into question.
PT Ecological Services was hired to rescue and finish the project. Our team started with a meticulous review of the incomplete Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) work and discovered several design faults, execution errors, and regulatory loopholes. Upon thorough examination, we advised the client on how to restart the project technically and legally.
We redesigned and commissioned a 155 m³/day STP based on MBBR technology, customised according to the business park’s requirements and site limitations. What stands out is that the installation was completed at Ground level, with equal emphasis on efficiency and optimization of space. The project also involves the processing of wet wastes at 335 kg/day using an OWC (Organic Waste Composter) system as part of our planning.
Environmental Monitoring Systems were also implemented, allowing real-time compliance monitoring and transparency in effluent discharge management. These improvements brought the project in line with CPCB and MoEFCC standards, protecting both environmental footprint and operational efficiency.
